Oh man, that brings back memories. I have used a 44 full of water, 3 star pickets, a lump of wood and some rope to make a load bank to test a genset. The more water, the more load. Was testing a 40KVA genset and got the sucker close to full load for 15 minutes before the water boiled.:DQuote:

The one in the pic is good for about 430 amps per phase .A 12 hour test is a
PITA so dont envy anyone doing a 24 hour Cummins used to borrow it many years ago as there element bank could'nt handle corrugated roads:D We still used it till late last year
