    judging by the size of that housing, and the A/R of 1.1 I'd say it is a truck or large vehicle turbo....or a big laggy 'make some serious HP above 8,000rpm' application.... made a mess though!!!

    (Edit, looks like CAT yellow paint, too...)

    7/16" ring/open end, Stanley. Imperial size and yellow painted housing smells like a CAT apprentice lost one of his tools..and then found it a short time later...
