no, its a submersible pump used to refill the truck.
u can see the hose in the water on the right.

Photos get the message across well Eevo. I used to knock around in that area a bit many years ago, so have some idea of what the terrain and vegetation can be like up there.

Looks like the fires came quite close to a couple of houses in your pics.

Keep safe out there - can only admire what you and your fellow brigade members do in times like this.

The guys did well on asset protection. Brings back harsh memories from a couple of years ago.
Nothing quite like arriving home to a smoldering property in the middle of the night.
