Where I grew up it was illegal to have alcohol at the drive ins, and during the triple features the police would set up just outside the entrance and search vehicles for alcohol - and of course it would be confiscated if found (if you were of legal drinking age you could collect from cop shop the following day). We would come with all kinds of ways to smuggle our grog in.
My favourite was a few mates had a 2nd windscreen washer bottle under the bonnet and plumbed into the car and have a secret under dash spout. Press of a button and you would have a glass full.
