Here's a semi that's driving thru some deep flood water in the recent Houston floods in the US.

Looks like he's sucking a lot of water... there is a geyser coming out of the exhaust stack! (Unless it's just lots of unburnt diesel )

I think its a leaking exhaust sucking the water up and blowing it out the top or the motor would not be running coz water dont compress.

That would explain it!
They are usually just V bands and flext joins IIRC.
