    That's cute

Apart from the tomfoolery of the bosozoku stance junkies, I wonder how it'd drive...

Here's a different pic - note the "whale tale" on the back of the bus!

(Take note Porsche "now that's what I call a whale tale")
So there's a whale story to be told ?

    Maybe about a tail.

Hmm, bugger all rake and no Gurney Flaps on those wings so there may not be much downforce anyway.

    3. You can get an estimation graphically by measuring a circle but you have very little chance of getting your error below 3 decimal places
Another way is the Monte Carlo method.

Superimpose a circle on a square, so that it just fits. The area of the circle is pi x r^2, and the area of the square is (2r)^2, or 4r^2. Divide area of the circle by the square and you get pi/4. Drop some random points in the square, and count how many are also in the circle, and you can calculate an estimate of pi.

This link actually shows you the calculation graphically, as well as the estimate for pi. It's pretty accurate.

Both of these 'whale tails' are much better to look at than the whale tails I saw when teaching in the UK a number of years ago.

In England, 'whale tails' referred to the g-strings worn high on the hips by some of the female students, with the skirt worn low enough that when they bent over, the top of the g-string reared into sight for all to see.

Still, it was better than the 'greyhounds' sported by other students.

    Ok.

    I'll bite.

    What's a 'greyhound'?
