There would be no point in giving it to the current generation of kiddies Ron; mainly cause if it can't be played on a gaming consul, TV or computer they don't want to know.
My own have lego and transformers etc and the only time I see the out is when the internet is down or when their electronic gaming privileges are withdrawn ...............
Maybe the only way is to auction it and buy the latest game electronic thingy

    Ron,
There's an engineer who has a heap of Meccano he's trying to sell, most of it is going to Sotherbys or whoever the UK auction firm are, prices are about 100 times better in the UK.
As engineers go, this bloke is useless. He keep building structures with the sets that aren't plumb, runs bevel gears on straight cut gears, just has no idea. Meccano should be in schools, TAFEs and unis!

If you are looking for a good home for it...

My youngest 2 daughters love building things. I am worried about their current trend for playing with batteries, globes & wires.... reminding me a little too much of myself, and I know where it led...

Really these are like 200 metal bandaids and bits for quick emergency panelwork on your landy!

Small tear in the panel? , here this long thin one will cover it, (lots of little bolts and nuts to hold them on.... great really.

Aerial bent?.. no worries, just build a small aerial support tower out of meccanno to support it and bolt it to the panel

    Fantastic...
