I think a lot of the servers run on unix. At the uni we had a mix of all three. Originally it was part of the Apple consortium, thus most of the first computers to hit the general labs and desks were mac plus.
Wow! so much faster than the original PCs, and system and some apps could all be on a 350kb floppy drive.
When I left, most servers were running Windows XP Server.
