its called "Fleet Week" here, they do a parade of the ships then an air show. We were out on the water watching... there's a gif of that I'm just to tired to look for it

I have seen that gif or similar on You Tube, plane comes out of nowhere and as it goes across the water it throws up a fantastic roaster tail.
