Maybe the driver of that car should just sit there and wait until the monkeys have completely disassembled the entire car.

Personally, at the first sign of trouble I would have hit the accelerator, then the brakes hard, made a smart-arsed comment aimed at the monkeys flying through the air in all directions and then driven off...
