Just had another look at the pics & none really look like the samples I had. Mine were more ribbed or "finned", may be a better term, externally & glazed internally. Some I found were 3'-4' long. I reckon finding fugurite is a hit & miss situation as we were installing a Trig Station on the blow at the time I got mine. We used a 5' fibro flue placed in as deep a hole as we could dig in loose sand, filled the flue with concrete & placed the brass marker in the top. On different occasions visited the flue could be 2 ' below the sand or 3' out. I don't have a clue whether it's still there or not. I would think not!
So, finding fugerite may be at the whim of the breezes!
On a side note, one of the blokes with me found the remains of a long barrelled pistol up on top as well. I've no idea what happened to that.
