Which proves that fines are revenue related rather than safety related.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

by the looks of it, doesn't seem that you will keep your points aswell - just don't get fined

its not up to the police if you get the fine if you lose the points, either you get a ticket or you dont

You will be issued with a field court attendance notice (FCAN) instead - this will clog up the court system and really purse the judiciary off and hence the government. Think of how many infringements are issued in a week - and rather than them being paid within the prescribed 21 days, they all go to the local courts to be dealt with..... So continue wearing your seat belts (unless it's a series pre ADR ) and have a nice day y'all...

Don't think this applies in all cases.

Definitely mate. Plod may let you off if you don't indicate, but not stopping at a stop sign etc and I reckon they won't be able to help themselves. Q..Q..Q...quota ....

I agree but perhaps they are going to ignore when you are 6kph over the speed limit on a 60 kph area
