    P38 parts...cheap by comparison

SWMBO's ASTRA (AH model) needs its first set of replacement wiper blades. They're the "trendy" one piece flexible type with the wide backing.... so I strolled into the local GMH dealer. With a $50 note in my hand fully expecting to receive some change ...

"That will be $101.50, Maaate ...they come from Belgium" ...as if that explained everything. He then added that the latest Commodores are in the same situation...

I politley declined and staggered back to my beloved P38. A gentle rub with 800 grade wet/dry has restored the ASTRA blades functionality for the moment til I work out a cost effective replacement...

My P38 "Britpart" imports from the UK (no VAT/ No GST) 6 days door to door... looking better and better!

    cheers

Ha, try a set for the 735/750 BMW....apparently $400 They come with the backing, clips and rubbers and add up to this exorbitant price.

New fork outers for the V-Strom - $860 the pair. It ended up costing $1100 to rebuild the forks after they were bent in my son's accident plus $180 to straighten the rim. I reassembled the front end and found the lower triple clamp is bent, too. Gahhh!
