Found this excellent site on a 101 rebuild. http://www.arewethereyet.eu/Beast/
The navigation around the site is "interesting" but once you get the hang of it there are dozens of pictures etc.

Hello All
Glad you are enjoying the Beast website. Satisfying after all the effort of developing it. The site gets a steady five to ten hits a day, sometimes more.
The wooden frame does look a bit spindly in the pics I have to say. Was actually surprisingly strong and stable.
Had the gearbox out last weekend to replace the clutch. The slave cylinder, only two years old, leaked fluid badly. That's the last time I'll try a non-genuine part. False economy.
We are heading back to Europe with the 101 next week after being in Melbourne for two years. It's going by ship unfortunately. Would far rather being driving it!
Cheers
Andy
