no all the time we take it else where and pay out of our own pocket landrover are not going to give a **** about us the car or anyone else with the same problem as they will learn that the longer they leave it the more people get ****ed off and go else where..less time, money ad effort on there part

I'm sorry scallops but paying for a car out of your own pocket is not the answer. and something I'm not going to even entertain....We stretched our selves buying this car so we wouldn't have any big layouts I will be damned if I'm going to pay for anything
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

OK, fair enough - your call. But to be clear - I didn't pay my specialist to actually fix my issue - just to diagnose it. I didn't see I had much choice - the dealer denied there was a problem until I did this.

I hear what you're saying DB

Its sometimes a matter of principle, the dealer sold you the 'Fender, they are the Authorised Service Centre for LRA so the onus should be on them to rectify the teething problems.

I also hear what Scallops is saying, in that if you were dependant on the vehicle for reliable, fault free use, getting to the root cause of the fault is probably the more important issue. In this case pehaps a visit to a third party specialist (and dropping some moolah) would be warranted.

If you have another vehicle (I think Lou has a few) then persevering with the dealer, on principle, might be the best option.

I hope it all gets resolved fairly soon though guys, 'cause it can certainly wear down your appreciation of the brand if it goes on and on.

Speaking of on and on, I've said enough

    Cheers

    Jason

good onya that is the right attitude IMHO Land Rover have had 56000K of your hard earned, as a cost of the "new product" that should account for downtime whilst in warranty fixing issues on a product released before it had all its hiccups sorted,i think it's about time all you 'new' vehicle owners with issues sort out a letter of issues and send a letter of complaint to the MD of landy in the U.K. i am gutted for you guys you should CC it to the director of design as well i have the address for you when you decide to rise up !!!
