Viewing Pictures on Threads

I'm must be doing something wrong here.
I don't seem to be able to find pictures on most of the threads.

It goes like this:
One thread says "here are some pics" and the following thread says "I like the look of that"
However, I can't see any pics at all on the thread.

So,
Am I looking in the wrong place?
Is there another page I have to go to to see them?

I don't know. Help!

I can't see any picture (at work at the moment).

even on new threads like the Landrover Graveyard thread
