Thread: Grey Defender 90 at Alto - Anyone know this car?

    Much better value

    In comparison to the other 90, this one is much better value. There's about 20k kms difference in them and $11k in price .

    In terms of extras, this one is missing the winch, bar, CB, spots and towbar, but comes with headlight protectors (well, on 3 out of 4 corners anyway) and wingtop chequered plate protectors (a must have IMHO). Winch and bar will cost you ~$2800 new, plus CB and spots andother $500.

    Although I'm sure it's been extensively detailed, this one looks pristine inside and out. You now have a choice... and bargaining power - If you still prefer the other one, you can negotiate the price right down on the basis of this one.

    Neither comes with rear seats, but you should be able to pick up a good set of seats and belts for ~$800 if you want them.

    Will be good to see another 90 join the ranks

    Yep - I made an offer, which they rejected as too low, and asked me to make another one.

    I made the same offer again. They rejected it.

    Would I make another offer they said? Yes I say - same as before. That is the maximum I am willing to pay for it....

    Eventually they got the idea that I wasn't going to up my initial offer.

    Anyway, conditional upon my inspection, it is sold!! Probably paid a couple of grand too much, but am hoping that I'll forget about that in a year or two.

    Hope it's as tidy as they describe it
