    CCCCC is now over

All of the CCCCC participants are now back. I would have posted this in the CCCCC section but it dissappeared while we were away Would have been nice to package it up into a resource for future use and there are also some loose ends to tie up around sharing photos & footage, returning borrowed gear and such.

It appears that all parties have arrived home safely and that vehicles are still working except for some minor issues. It also appears that all parties had a very good time.

I think I am probably the last to arrive home (17:40 today) as we went from Roma to Ferny Grove via Tingalpa as my wife's father became quite ill while we were away so we had to check him out.

So for those of you who were following the planning keep an eye in the trip reports section, it looks like there may be several trip reports from individuals which is great, as there will be quite different perspectives, especially given the group took different routes back.

However there will be an "official" trip report written up by the trip leader. We will be taking our time putting that together as we will collect information and photos from across the group.

I will probably do a trip report from a logistics/planning point of view, covering things that we over/under planned and some of the little lessons we learnt along the way eg do not rely on two screws to keep your number plate on the vehicle.

I knew it was open until fairly recently but it would have been nice if it had stayed there until the trip was finished so we could wrap things up. However it was not the worst thing that happened to me today. Actually it was, but I have had a remarkably nice day

the comps were ment to be run as part of the next edition of the aulroian.

I'll drudge through the threads but I think the fuel consumption one will be out the window but the flats one and the mech working one should still be good to go.
