    Options

2: new defender 110 (can I put up with it as a DD)

Hows about a sedan of choice for road use, and a P38 you can set up for touring. That's what I'm doing with my P38. P38s are pretty cheap now.

You can come and have look at mine if you like. I'm in Highton.

Are you looking only at new cars so that you can get a new car warranty to cover your first few years? Mitsubishi (if you like them) have a pretty good warranty deal thing, and something like a Ralliart Lancer will be in a similar performace bracket to your Liberty.

edit- just saw your sig, you probably aren't too keen on a turboed japmobile then

This will feel glacial compared to your Subie (not that I exactly know what a 3R is....). It is also a big hunk of metal and not all that easy to get into normal city parks. If you work out in the country this will not be an issue, but I have to drive past a lot of possible parks simply because it is so long.

Other than that - it is pretty close to being a perfect car!!

A new 110 will last 25-30 years, so might be the last new car you buy if you are anywhere near my age

as a DD goes to the cbd weekly, and travel about 40 k bayside to dandy for work.

If i get a sedan it wil be of similar performance, I kind of like the idea of the defender they are a good price easy to work on and i think very reliable.

just not convinced that I could put up with the basic interior, the performance i can get over .

suby is a 195 kw job. nice to drive, defender will cut out a few speeding tickets maybe.

    old county looks interesting,

    MICHAEL.
