I too find that Disco typically American influenced and total overkill.
Even for PR, some-one will think its actually useable.

OMG, what a world we live in.

I am a total LR addict but that is just a waste of space.

Go build a wheel chair or something useful.

His car, his money, his choice! If he wants to buy a brand new RRS then crush it, he's entitled to do so.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Theres 2 of those disco's his and a mates that duplicated it...

Personally, I think its awful... I appreciate the concept, but the execution is dreadful...

Its not road legal - in any way shape or form, and is regularly targeted for damaging tracks offroad with poor driving choices...

And it ramps worse than a stocker!!!!

Anyone can pilot a monster tyred vehicle over ground, to get a sensible tyred vehicle through some tough stuff takes skill.

The monster Disco rocks, it would be good if it still had the 12 gears like a mog.
It would be crazy to drive and I reckon easy to roll, but still a lot of fun id pay $100 for an hour in it.

    BWAHAHA!!!

You could take the tyres aswell! Just a matter of unbolting the diff at the radius arms, disconnect the brake lines and the four bolts for each driveshaft. two bolts for steering links and away you go.

EDIT: I forgot they have the wattslink at the rear that need to be unbolted. I think with air tools and a hoist 1 hour is plenty of time.

Now I always wondered about tyre changes. Now even for me, I find standard tyres weigh a bit, so would you need a forklift to a) get the spare off the back and b) remove and replace the flat one.

yeah it sort of looks cool but to tell the truth if it was mine I would sell the 49's and put 37/14.5/16 mud bogger tyres under it that would make it far more usable at least where I come from, it looks like it would be to prone to tipping over unless the rims were more offset.

Having said that I would like to have a go in it just to see what it can do in it's current set up. with the amount of mud up here in the top end I can see potential. But then I am looking at an argo it's a six wheel drive like the bannana splits used to drive for anyone old enough to remember that far back. They are totally unstopable in mud and water

P.S. I got over monster trucks after pubity
