Pretty funny though
Both the joke and the cultural cringe effect in Europe.

Good old Jeremy Clarkson, politically incorrect to a "t" but you have got to love him.

Just watched this episode last night. HILARIOUS! Jeremy insisted that his VW Sirocco adverts all had big explosions and when they (he and James May) tried to do a serious one set around a funeral he forced one of the female actors to wear a bikini (but made it a black one so it was more appropriate). He then blew up one of the Jaguar hearses.
The first part of the episode was a review of the Vauxhall (Holden) VXR8 Bathurst and Maloo Ute. Interesting outcome on the track. VXR8 = BMW M5, and the Maloo Ute = Aston Martin DB9!
Some of these "politically correct" tossers take themselves far too seriously.
I'm of square head descent myself on my father's side, and I don't take any offence at all to Clarkson's antics - find them quite hilarious actually. My mother's side is Irish - and she knows some of the best Irish jokes I've ever heard. It's not just Australians with the ability to laugh at ourselves....... but some people are just way too precious.
How come these same whingers don't seem to complain about Basil Fawlty ??
Cheers .........

Not to mention do people really believe Clarkson writes all is own material??? That's why shows employ writers

"More than 100 people complained after seeing a spoof advertisement that he filmed about the new German-made Volkswagen Scirocco TDI for the BBC Two programme, which was seen by 6.7 million viewers on Sunday evening"
So 100 people didn't like it.. and another 6.7 million people were laughing... Are those 100 people really worth worrying about? worth writing a newspaper artical about? Seems a bit odd.. Loved the show.. going to be a long wait till next year...
