    It's Jap. Planned obsolescence. No factory parts service after about 10 years or less. So solly, parts obsorete. Try the swap meets or Just Bikes magazine. Otherwise use the internet and see if you can find a USA aftermarket parts manufacturer who will be miles cheaper than the factory bits ever were..

    nope, as there names sagest, the RD LC were just liquid cooled RD motors. the TZR was a detuned TZ for the Road, nothing interchangeable. but both impressive bikes in there day.

    Try these guys;

    Metropolitan Motorcycle Spares

    Trouble with the TZR250 is it was only around for a couple of years unlike the water cooled RZ250.

    One more thing, in the UK the RZ250 we know, was an RD250LC all the way from the model we knew as an RD250/350LC through to the last model TZR250R, basicly in the UK the RD prefix didn't change, it was only here that the RD changed to RZ and then TZR.

    So it's quite possible that the 1988 RD250LC in the UK is the same bike as the TZR250 here as Grockle mentioned.
