And thats the reason people are sticking to the 100 series or buying Prado's.I have met, heard of a few people that have bought D3's because of the value they have over the 200 and all of them bar none have been supprised how good the D3 is. Pat
I considered the 'Ugly' comments here at length and chose to ponder on them whilst I drove across wet paddocks in 'Mud & Ruts" mode, whilst listening to the Harmon Kardon, relaxing on the Connolly leather and not listening to the TDV6, which is rather quiet; and was upset that I had an 'Ugly' Car.:dbcry::dbcry::BigCry::BigCry::BigCry:
Maybe I should save myself the pain and buy a D1, then sit back on the vinyl and turn up the Ferris to try and drown out the rattle. At least then I'd be safe from those staring eyes, who were no doubt questioning why I had bought such an ugly car.
No, I shall stick with my D3 for now (until I get a D4 that is!;)) and put up with the shame!
I'd have a Disco 4 in a heartbeat if I could afford one.
You have no shame to put up with, you are as entitled to like the car as I am to dislike it. I am in no way disrespecting the vehicle or those who find it attractive. My Disco is sans vinyl, Ferris and rattles, yet I feel no shame.;) Go forth proudly in your D3, just don't ask me like the look of it.:)
Ozi D4 prices were public info on 1st August, so complete specs must be too. Base model is 2.7 (c/w TR), SE is 3.0, HSE is 3.0 or 5.0.
