Looking at the article the discovery 4 has a twin-Turbo Charger setup ,now would this be 2 identical turbo chargers running in parallel , or are they referring to a sequential turbo charging like one developed by BMW?

    Disco Owner

The article says one turbo cuts in early and one later, does that answer your question?

More power, more torque, more economy. Can't beat that really.

Land Rover Aust could give all Disco one owners a special deal and take us into the next generation of transportation, now that would be agreat deal.

    Any takers here?

I do agree with you, well almost, not a suzi man but technology is a way we are going and yes that will make outback travel more difficult/dangerous but the time will come when we be forced to take our old faithful off the road for a new enviro friendly car.

I give them 5-10 years. Thoughts?

aha... so it is Sequential Twin Turbocharging.

I agree , Technology is the way to go , better performance , better Fuel economy , less particulates , more power Torque etc. I would buy a Defender with a TDV6 engine , if they released one with better ergonomics.

    ducks for cover....
