Offset of rims needed to fit 35's
I have a series 1 discovery with plenty of room to fit 35's i am just wondering on the offset required to fit 35x 12 inch tyres comfortably. also how is this measured any help will be very much appreciated.

a -25mm offset will be fine and will obviously require flares to cover them 
I am buying a D1 with 35" simex's and it has a neg 25 offset and so is this D1

in short, a neg offset will push the wheel out of the guard more, a pos offset will send it inboard more

Thanks mate, for some reason i though that standard rover rims are negative 25mm offset? or i have miss heard are they positive 25mm.

actually, I think most of the factory D1 wheels are a 0 offset.....might be wrong on that 
need pics tho, D1 on 35's....now thats a tuff look in my book

0 offset 15x8s should fit them fine, i run 37s on that size rim but i would prefer a little wider as it rubs no the upper rear spring hanger, this wont be a problem on a disco though because the spring hangers are smaller to suit the 5in diameter coils, defenders are 6in diameter in the rear.
