if you dont need to have it registered or anything how do they know you have one?? that is infact over 30years old
G'day all,
The latest Open Road mag had a blurb about the new Classic Car Club section of NRMA. Its for people with vehicles over 30 years old and is free to join, grants a couple of small bonuses.

Its free so it's probably worth joining. So I did. You need to be an NRMA member but don't need your 'classic' car to be registered or anything.
Cheers,
Mark

Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
In the online registration process you fill out a form with vehicle details but doesn't ask for number plate/rego number or anything. I guess this is because some members will be restoring older cars rather than currently driving them![]()
Has anyone here joined this 'club'?
I signed up a few weeks ago & there's supposed to be a newsletter emailed out with details of events, features......
Nothing's arrived at my inbox yet.

The day after i applied, i received a keyring and a welcome letter in the mail. The key benefit seems to be cheaper subscription to a magazine which I won't be taking out.
Nice enough keyring though

Woo hoo, the first newsletter arrived today & they have a trip out to the Museum down Wollongong way:
Invitation to Show & Shine Sunday 27th September 2009 - myNRMA
Hmmm, 27th of September. I don't think there's anything important on that day, is there?
Scott
yep got it too, which will draw more punters, LR Expo or their show and shine? I'll be at the popular one![]()
LMFAO.......
