Hi Davy, I'm departing Brisbane for Cairns this week, any chance of catching up to support the local industries together, that being coffee and sugar (in the form of rum).
Ian.
Well after 22 years out of the saddle I just had to do it & bought a Ducati.
I was expecting all sorts of problems, learning to ride in heavy traffic, handling a fast bike, increased interest from the law....
Funny thing is, there were only 2 problems.
Problem 1
My first day back in Ingham with the bike (I bought it in Brissy & trailered it home) I was promptly pulled over by the boys in blue.
What had I done wrong? NOTHING! The young constable just wanted to have a look at the bike(he is a Kawasaki owner)
Problem 2.
I am going to need treatment for RSI from returning waves from other bike riders
So far in 2 weeks there have only been 2 riders who haven't waved as we passed on the road.
I'm begining to feel like the old AA patrolmen did!
Once you have a bike you are part of a large brotherhood of like minded
individuals whether you meant to be or not!
I think bikers & Landy owners have much in common.
Davy

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
