Reliably pinched, I'm three thefts for three Subarus.

Reliably beaten, my L wagon would take frequent mysterious beatings from passing pub patrons, to the extent that one night I found it turned ninety degrees with the back up against my front door. Not the least uncommon to come outside in the morning and find random plastic pieces missing.

Reliable mechanically? Not particularly, but they do always feel like they'll go forever. I find that the moment I lose that trust in a car it's time to sell, and the Subarus are exceptional at maintaining the love.

I reckon a holden or ford would be ok, i have a 37 year old f100 and she just goes and goes, a toyota though? I think any that age have rusted back into the ground......

True, although I had a 1978 Cressida that was a bottler - one of the first rust-proofed Toyota's. Didn't die until about 2000, I passed it on to a mates 18yo son .......crunch......dont you love P platers :lol2: (Sorry Shonk - sweeping generalisation I am sure!).They are the only common old toyotas left. Even the FJ40's and 55's are all returned to earth or held together with fiberglass or platic panels.;)
