is that fixable? i often wonder why people buy burnt out wrecks like that
Hi,
The old man managed to buy a td5 110 wagon that has been burnt out at the auctions in Brisbane a few weeks ago. (photo attached) Just wondering if anyone knows the history or mileage travelled. It has had a new raditor fitted at the Gold Coast earlier this year. Any information would be great. Cheers Ben

Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Contact the dealer who fitted the radiator & ask for a bit of history. They might jack up but explain to them what you have & why you need the info & they should help with the basics.
Otherwise, send me the last 6 of the VIN via PM & I'll see what I can find.

buy a ute thats hit something hard, transfer everything over, build a tray and voila!
hard to tell without looking closer, but al running gear is probly ok, brakes, wheels, tyres, suspension, engine etc. depends where the fire was hottest as to what can be salvaged, but i have wrecked many cars in that condition and done well onselling parts in my past.
WARNING
Just be careful when working on it, as some of the interior and exterior plastics etc can turn to highly toxic dust and residues that have long term health hazards. It may seem like overkill but you should wear eye and breathing protection when dismantling it.
