    were to buy a rangie

I am thinking of buying a rangie somewere in the sub $20000 range. Given that i have never seen one in a car yard in Darwin i will have to fly to another capitol city and either drive or truck one back what is the best city to fly to are there major differences in price for the same vehicle, differing taxes for different states.

There are probably more in Melbourne than elsewhere. But take your time, check up on the internet to see what is a good price for year/ condition etc. If you'd like to discuss, PM me and I'll send you my phone number.

Sub $20K, so are you thinking P38A, or a super super super slick Classic?

Melbourne seems to be the place with all the rangies. I'm from Adelaide and have a similar issue, in that there are not so many here and you generally have to hop on a plane to get what you want.

Shipping is not too bad. Generally $500-$600, but Darwin will be more I suppose.

i guess we are lucky up here in one way we can fly to nearly all the capitols for roughly the same price, its possibly cheaper to drive it back but trusting a new\old vehicle to not let you down is the problem, melbourne does seem to have more rangies advertised on ebay etc.
