Working on 175m2 we would be around 23kw but some of this area may be corridors etc,difficult without looking.Your area is also different so heat loads may also be different,but I wouldn’t think so.

So bottom line is maybe go with the 17 kw if two contractors have gone that way,our suggestion would be two stage if possible due to low load and small area at night.Will cost more but save in the long run.Inverters are not bad with low load anyway,although you may have to dump some airflow at night.

You've caught me out on my maths Paul. I checked the figures, and found I'd made a mistake converting from imperial to metric, so now the living area has shrunk to 95.5 m2. The bedroom area remains the same at 80.7m2. Does that sound better?

Gee I hope the fujitsus are still ok. We just had a new 9kw split system into our house ( .. insurance company is replacing the old split sytem as a part of the flood remediation).seeya,Shane L.
