those pics of the LHD Perentie LRPV with the other 6x6 varients look like it was taken O/S as those trees don't look Australian, nor does the Camo, and that sand coloured narrow 6 x 6 looks like the new one that the LR/MOD is thinking of building.

BTW. Juddy there is a Stalwart in Aust in Qld, and it is fitted with the crane & operators seating.I have driven it 6 wheel drive, 4 wheel steering

Love those old JRA posters for the new military vehicles, where have I heard that phone No before,(02)600-1333 still sits in my mind!!!!!!

    cheers
    Evening Sir

A stalwart now thats interesting is it a UK one???? Funny that just been pricing some of those up, about 10/15 years ago there was stacks of them for sale, good ones are hard to find these days....

Theres these for sale not too far away from my old mans house, but need some work.

These vehicles are the remains of a fleet used on Cleethorpes beach giving rides to tourists and the ride operator has now retired and is offering them for sale.

They are mostly complete but some have parts missing and none are in roadworthy condition. One of the vehicles is fitted with a turbo diesel Bedford engine and the other three are normally aspirated engines. 2 of the vehicles have winches fitted.

There are a number of good 1400x20 tyres fitted.

    Also for sale is:-
    1) a Perkins turbo 6 cylinder dot 4 engine.
    with Stalwart gearbox fitted.
    2) A number of spare propulsion units.
    3) A number of good bevel boxes.
    4) Sundry stalwart spare parts.

Never mind a container would need the a ship for all these....

    G'day Juddy

Yup! it is ex-UK been out here about 20 years,it has been restored now and is almost totally original, and it is capable of swimming to my knowledge,
but it is too wide for Qld roads and would need to be floated or special wide load permit and escort vehicles.

I haven't seen the owner recently, as he was O/seas for a while

    cheers

    Military Landies in different places...

These military Landies were photographed by me in both Afghanistan, and in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Then, this is a military Landy of the Forcas Armadas de Mocambique....always using their stuff for.....whatever they can....

Be known for what you did. Not, for what you bought.
