    to clarify my previous post.

providing you are prepared and have a bit of brain one, its a piece of cake.

I spent most of my time in high 1-2 only using low range when I needed the torque multiplication of low range to help out the oiler.

No snorkle, No traction aids other than a tyre pressure gauge and a kick ass compressor. Maximum water depth I found was halfway up the air inlet for the cab air on the left hand wing.

Be careful on gunshot if you havent already organised a group or assistance before you try one of the "proper" entries you could spend a while in water/mud.
Take the easy track or bypass it.

The Telegraph run is easier heading north but is achievable going southwards.

The Development road has more corrigations on it but is quicker if you can get up to the "floating" speed required. It was being worked on as our group headed south.

    RIP Toots

Poor old Toots has been gone for what ...nearly 15 years now,at least.
Didn't she get crushed by steel or 44 gallon drums?
I actually forget.[V8Ian can vouch for me memory],but it fails me know.
