if you didnt put forward a defined list of tasks then you dont have a comparison as each may have a different view of what needs doing.

Spot on Inc, was going to say the same. Find out what the qoute includes and then way up any other factors that add value into the equation.

I can't really compare as I have always taken my D2 car to Ricks......but what I can say is he has always gone above and beyond ANY other garage I have dealt with over the years with other cars.

I have started to do the simple stuff myself but for anything more involved, Rick will get my business again for sure.

Ricks always a little more when your a first timer ,he's prices are like a fine wine they get better with time and you wouldn't open wine with a hammer

Incisor is probably right in that they may not be quoting on exactly the same job.

I recently had a lot of work (nearly $3000 worth ) done to my Fender at M.R, I checked with Rick's what they would charge for the same work, and it was about the same as M.R, perhaps even a few dollars cheaper.

For the record its like for like service!!!!!!!!!!!
