    But Toymotas never have problems!!

At least Toymota will actually admit that there is a problem and do something about it instead of waiting for it to fail, (how many 07-08 Pumas still have there original vac pump, clutch, and rear diff??).

Imagine taking the toyo up to the ski slopes and finding you can stop on a downward bend.

Umm.... ask toyota why they never recalled the 100 series IFS cruisers and replaced the lower control arms which break... relatively easily. They did, I believe, do a "voluntary" recall where they advised customers they were checking a ball joint but were actually looking at how many arms were failing out of a sample group.

Or perhaps why they withdrew there on steel bullbars for Prado and 200 series.. due to severe cracking of the front end... problem solved they now use the reinforcing supplied with an aftermarket bar under license to solve it.

with the brakes......it would have to happen so gradually......the driver would have pulled over realising theres a problem
before they have absolutely no vaccuum assist......the brakes would still work........
but you would have to practically have to pull the steering wheel off to do so.......

you would think under bonnet temps would be high enough to keep things warm enough to prevent freezing........

I wouldn't have thought it would be a major problem, just requires a bit more leg effort. Chargers used to race round Bathurst with unassisted discs, and I converted an HR to Torana discs without fitting a booster.
