    Courier/freight advice

I'm looking at buying a 2nd-hand cargo barrier in Adelaide, and having it shipped to Brisbane. The problem is, it would probably need to be picked up from their door, as I'm not sure if they can drop it off at a depot.

I've posted in the Courier forum, but no replies yet. So, can anyone recommend a courier service I can try to work out costs/logistics to ship to Brisbane?

BTW, there's another one available in Alice Springs, but more expensive. Despite that, I'd be keen on pricing for shipping that one also, so any advice there would also be helpful.

    Thanks.

Or try pack and send, who do door to door - Logistics Solutions, Courier Services, Freight, Franchise Opportunities, Shipping, Packaging, eBay Shipping, Excess Baggage, Australia
They're a bit pricey, but do a reasonable job. It's worthwhile talking around options with them when getting a quote. I found a significant difference in price getting the package delivered to an address in Sydney rather to my place in Katoomba. Cheapest quotes were based on major centre to major centre, once it got small and regional it got very expensive.

Be absolutely sure it come with the mounting kit. A mounting kit will cost you another $100 from the manufacturer.

Most eBay sellers say the barrier comes with the kit but it doesn't - the owners are referring to the swivelling tabs that are on the barrier.

The mounting brackets nearly always stay in the car as holes have been cut for them.
