    Im excited!!!!

Was reading The Land at work the other night and opened the front cover to be confronted by a full page add stating that they are back, 6 new models of defender to be available in Oz, i nearly wet my pants, the other guys at work didnt get the excitement, it was lost on them.

It has already been posted elsewhere on the site but not here from what i could gather so im not sure if some people are still unaware, i gotta say the 110 crew cab looks aswome.

Have to say... how do you pick the difference! lol (as a Disco guy the one thing that stands out for me is the size of the rear windows on the wagons, seem huge in comparison to the current model)

I give it a good thought for about 10 seconds and with the investment over $55000 + mods I can keep my Tdi and build the mother of all off road camper trailers and still have heaps of money for a long, long trip

Don't know much about Defenders, but the 75 litre fuel tank seems a bit pathetic. My old Series 3 had a bigger tank than that.

I've been to cape york, crossed the simpson, crossed Oz,toured Tassie, been up and down the middle and a hundred other places all with my defenders standard 75ltr tank and two jerry cans.My defender used 12.7ltrs per 100 crossing the simpson,my work troopy use's 15ltrs per 100 driving around town empty, thats why tojo's have two tanks. I agree to a large extent mate, its alot of dough to outlay and then as you say add accessories to that. If i do get one it wont be for a while, want a new house before a new car, with the new engine in the disco its got plenty more life in it yet
