    help me!!! no keys!!

    lost my only key for the defender last night and had to get a tow truck home......dumb ass!! the barrel has been changed once already due to the garage losing my keys! what should i do!! lol get a second hand ignition tommorow from gimpy land rover? i am not normal

    You can try taking the barrel out and taking it down to a locksmith and see if they can make up a key for you. Or pull the barrel and get them to give you a new key and rekey the barrel to suit.

    get the barrel out of a army rover,. so you dont need a key anymore
    or you can just weld it in,..
    then just hide a kill switch

    i am a dumb ass!! i found them under the seat!! but i have learnt a very expensive lesson! going to get 2 more cut tmw morning!! i have tried to get one cut before and they didnt have any blanks that matched..... maybe ill try british off road......

    Try saying Volvo instead of Land Rover - most (but not all) of the regular key cutting booths have suitable blanks. ( I've had Ilco VO73's, and Silca NE75EP blanks as spare keys for Disco's and RR's)
