I've had to play golf twice in my life - both times at corporate events and I was ****ing terrible at it. Luckilly we played Ambose rules which took some embarassment out of the event. However, both times I was in the team that came last

The most fun part (for me at least) was getting to drive around in the electric golf buggies.

Well what a day we had a great time....I was absolutely crap

I did however get better towards to end...to start with I couldn't even hit it but when I got to the 6th hol I was smacking them massive distances with the wood.

We lost one ball....and no joke it was on a 3 par and I used the wood as I hadn't been hitting to great (so thought I wouldn't have any issues with hitting over the distance was having trouble getting them in the air let alone up the fairway). I took a swing and hit it perfect (had that lovely thurwack ting noise from the club ball and tee)!!!! it went shooting off into the distance and then we lost site of it and never got to see where it dropped..i'm pretty sure it soared past the green though....yes it really was that far

So what was our shocking scores like. We should of done the 9 holes in 36 I think it was, and I did it in 79 and Ian did it in 93..........

my first 5 holes I was using a wood that was actually broken and bent on the end and had a kink in it every time I hit with it, the ball shot off and the curved round to the right it was probably me doing that though...but when I used Ians wood I smack them hard and straight from hole 6 onwards.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself and can't wait to go back for another go....we had such a laugh.

You get 10 strokes removed for Cruiser/Patrol/Pajero wind screens.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

would just like to say the hockey technique did work wonders.......i was great with the wood...but as soon as i was on the irons..no go!!

both me and Ian got in the sand bunkers once...what a disaster i got my club under the ball balanced it on the flat wedge and flicked it on to the green..

none of this bloody hit roll back, hit roll back, hit roll back.......it was a very steep exit from the bunker which meant I needed to chip it out needless to say I found the balance flick trick much much easier

    Golf is like gambling.

You can play crappy shots all day, but the ONE good shot lives in your memory and you want to go back and have just one more shot like that.

    Your life is ruined now

    I suggest this course...

Nullarbor Links - The World's Longest Golf Course

it may suit your woods penchant!!!

I doubt it I'm guessing not a prestigious course due to the weeds growing on the fairway
