Thread: Show us your drawings

I think your drawings are great landy leon especially the shark. You definately have some artistic talent so if you enjoy drawing keep at it.

My art teacher wanted me to go to art college etc and thought that I'd make a career of it, but I declined and got a job instead.

Thirty seven years on I often wonder what might have been if I'd listened....

I've scanned a few of some vintage pics for you to view, you can criticise all you like too

See if you can guess who the first two were meant to be

Here an example of what I said in my earlier post. My then 14yo daughter drew this referencing a photo... so it wasnt traced, just drew her interpretation. this way she has learned the art of detail, something that is hard when drawing just from memory.

It is very clear to me that she have the talent of her grandfather
We have one portrait of Clara, our dog done by her and it is fantastic
