Patrol heading downhill and seemingly not on the muddy patch... 
I would suggest that the Rangie was actually doing pretty well, considering the incredibly slippery surface, uphill gradient and highway tyres!
You can see the elctronic gadgetry doing its thing and slurping every micron of traction out of the slush. A set of A/Ts or even just "normal" tyres and it would have walked over it no hassles.
All things equal, I doubt any other vehicle would have done any better - and considering the technological advantage of the RR they may well have done worse! 
Still, give me good old chunky tyre mechanical traction over gadgets any day!
