    he isn't disturbing a nest though they are trashing his house to make one..

    I think making them a nest is a good idea
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    We tried a nest box and they ignored it completely. I don't think they are trying to nest but are attracted to the fat smell coming from the range hood. I might try the shade cloth. The only problem with that is I have to borrow a very long ladder as the vent is the equivalent of about three stories up.

    Get one of those cat traps & bait it with a nice fatty snag.After you catch them,clip their wings so they cant get up to the vent.

    Um,make sure the ladder is hidden away so they cant use it to get up to the vent.

    Problem solved

    My water pistol looks a bit like that offrdn, but with a pump underneath. It reaches about 30m.

    Abaddonxi, I thought vegetarians still cooked in oil.
