    answer these questions:

    Is represented as:

    16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26.


    If:
    H-A-R-D-W-O-R- K

    8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98%

    But:
    K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E

    11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96%

    And:
    A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E

    1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100%

    Excel gave that figure - several times. I should have realised the last figure must be a 1.

    My calculator won't calculate it.

    those number pyramids look significant because they show quirks in the decimal counting system. Shift the same values to Hex, binary or octal number systems and the patterns disappear.

    The significance of these is more about our cultural propensity to use a base 10 counting system than number.

    The last examples are just a bit of silliness.

    substituting ordered integers for letters based on their position in the alphabet and summing the result is one thing. Ascribing the result as a fractional value of and unknown whole and applying that as a rating of the underlying meaning of the word is plainly ridiculous
