    Dust storms

Well what a sight, its not as bad here in Bathurst as it is in sydney going by the pics on sunrise, but its quite an eery (spelling Ron? ) feeling. Looks quite thick on the telly in sydney. Left the bathroom window open last night and there was a nice pile of red dust on the bottom of the bath which is right next to the window. After the massive storm its hard to imagine there would be much dust, where is it all comming from?

It was real eerie at around 5:30am

Still doesn't compare to the one in Melbourne in 1983 while I was at Tullamarine

Had a violent dry thunder storm last night and now have the dust as well. Be the worst dust storm I've ever seen here. Taking a pic now

    Dust this morning.

Woke up this morning to a sight I have not seen since when I was working in Central Australia in the mid sixties. Visibility is about 100m and everything is lit by a deep red sky. I'll get some pictures when the light is bright enough. If gets bright enough..... My blue County is now brown, and I have not looked at the 2a yet - It has already been washed for the trip to the Expo!

Sydney's gritty inner west is certainly a lot grittier this morning.

This time last year I was driving to Broken Hill down the Darling River..today it has come to me.
