    Off to buy the engel

Well as the thread says, finally off to get the fridge. After much indecision and procrastination I have decided on the 45L Engel. Plus I will purchase a bag and a slide as well. Will let you all know how I get on!

    As they said!
There are lots of good fridges out there, but the Engel works for me - right size, fits well in the fender, and keeps meat and beer nice and cold, and not too heavy on the amps either

Where did you get the notion of more refined? I chose the Engel over the Waeco many years ago as Waeco did not have their 12v power consumption anywhere near the low consumption of the Engel. I believe this is not the case anymore.

Do I detect some Taking of the ****??

Seriously I would be looking at an ARB before a Waeco these days or even maybe a plastic Engel.
