... thats a lot of juice. I have ordered a roof top tent as well, so I dont think that we will be staying in one place long enough to warrent two of the buggers!
Yep a waste of $50 IMHO. I got one with mine and used it for about a month then pulled it out and cut off the engel plastic plug and replaced it with a SS marine screw type plug. About $15 and much more robust. Available from most decent marine stores.
Good installation and I am sure it will serve you well

Both batteries were a godsend when up Cape York way.The fishing was so good at Somerset on the East Coast we stayed there for a month

I am from Brisbane originally so I certainly know where you are talking about. Gearing up now when I can afford it and then plan on doing a trip to cape in the next couple of years. Hopefully the government etc have not closed it off by then

FWIW - You could probably do with having a fuse closer to the battery, just incase the wire shorts out against something.
