Nice job by the way and the Trojan batteries are excellent

    Cheers
Has any thought of or done the re-positioning of the power steering reservoir so that a larger battery can be used.I had to use the smaller but added a much larger in the luggage space. So have 2 deep cycles and yes anderson plugs are much cheaper and do the same job.

Ran 25A cable from the deep cycle battery to the back of the disco and then soldered the plug and away she went.
Yep a waste of $50 IMHO. I got one with mine and used it for about a month then pulled it out and cut off the engel plastic plug and replaced it with a SS marine screw type plug. About $15 and much more robust. Available from most decent marine stores.
Good installation and I am sure it will serve you well

Not a problem mate. Will take one this morning for you

I am from Brisbane originally so I certainly know where you are talking about. Gearing up now when I can afford it and then plan on doing a trip to cape in the next couple of years. Hopefully the government etc have not closed it off by then

    Nice barra by the way

FWIW - You could probably do with having a fuse closer to the battery, just incase the wire shorts out against something.
