    Re the slide.
    Similar problem to my RRC.
The biggest problem is that the petrol tank is underneath the floor.

I rivetted 2 pieces of 3/16 steel to the floor with 5MM rivets( 240Newtons holding strength) and placed bolts in the steel facing upwards through the mat., held by putting a nut on top.

The bolts sit in the channels so I had to drill a couple of new holes in the slides to fit. AFAIR , one hole lined up perfectly with the factory Engel hole.

The slide sits on the mat, and the mat and insulator is thick enough that the top nuts do not wind down onto the nuts holding the bolt in place.

To remove the slide all you do is undo the four top nuts and take it out. Takes 2 minutes tops.

The aux in mine is about 80 Ah. It is a starting battery not a deep cycle.

Starting batteries work fine if you don't run them to low. I achieve this when I go bush by taking a solar panel.
