Thread: Hello everyone - I need some help please

I'm looking at purchasing a Land Rover Defender one of these days and I would appreciate some help.
Is there anyone here on this forum that lives in South Australia near Black Forest, why I’m asking is I’m interested in the 2004 Model at Black Forest 4x4 and would appreciate there thoughts on it, is it a good price for that model, is it in good condition etc. any other advise on the 2004 model would be welcomed. I would say 2004 would be a good year.

Generally pretty reliable, despite some thinking electronics are the work of the devil. Have the odd foible but nothing too major by then. They are easy to work on aswell which is nice.

Dont take well to being overheated, so if there is any evidence of that be careful.

Proper servicing is important too.

Wll only have a rover type rear diff, as opposed to the earlier Salisbury which was stronger.

Searching should reveal loads!
