Noojee trip tomorrow. Need a starting point.
Hi folks.
Me and the young fella' are heading up to the Noojee area in the morning. Rather than spending all our time looking for tracks I thought someone might be able to point us in the right direction.
Familiar with the Gembrook area but, apparently the parks around there are closed.
All help appreciated.

Head out from Drouin towards Neerim South.
At Neerim South call into the Camping store on the left, just around the bend past the Pub.
Grab a Rooftop Map of the area, I recommend some of the tracks out Neerim East way, head for the Latrobe river, there's a ford at Hawthorne Bridge, (the bridge is long gone).
Tolleys Track, Suckling Rd, Wild Track, H Tree Extension, HardUp Haul track if you don't mind a bit of gully work at the creek at the bottom.

Thanks guys!
Took Hymie's advice all the way (including the map! ripper).
LaTrobe River Road and it's offshoots provided some excellent tracks and vistas.
Assume we found Hawthorne crossing. A little too chewed up for our road going setups but we intend to get back to that area asap.
My son (L plates) took his 85' MK Patrol with the missus and I had the Disco. Managed to negotiate quite a few challenging motorbike tracks without even engaging low range.
Then! We found a nicely chopped up mud pit for about 30 metres of track that just sucked the Disco to the floor pan.
2.5 hours and much cursing later we were back on terra firma.
I have to admit that attempting this track with aged AT's at road pressures was a bit silly. But, as the wife thought we would be there for a week, looks like we are re-shoeing the old girl (the Disco, not the wife) with something a little more agressive.
Also have to acknowledge just how tough my son's Patrol was. At $2200.00 on the road this thing is the 4WD bargain of the decade IMO. Without it and it's pulling power we would indeed have been there for a week.
Photo's and a little more info. to follow.
Thanks again to Hymie for his excellent advice and obvious knowledge.
We had a ball! 10 hours of family fun for 30 bucks of diesel. Ya gotta love.
